In speaking with founder Matthew Marcum, we clarified an overarching statement to reflect the mission and vision of MPC. Helping youth make connections and build relationships that not only help them plan their futures, but to be a sincere friend and ally through the challenges in their life.
“Building Relationships, Building Futures” emphasizes that while the organization aims to help its mentees through the transition from high school to adulthood, it begins with and relies on a strong mentor relationship.
The Project
Through focus groups and surveys, we determined that MPC struggled with cohesive professional branding online. Specific focus areas included: social media pages such as Facebook, Linkedin, and YouTube needing to be restructured to better represent the organization; an overhaul of the organization’s website with new design and copy; and creating a brand style guide for digital and printed media.
